TCG Menace is building a North American destination for sealed-product discovery, card research, market signals, and smarter seller routing. This page explains how we keep that experience useful and trustworthy as coverage grows.

Data sources and methodology
TCG Menace combines clearly attributed public datasets and documented APIs to organize card identities, sets, release information, images, and market references. Current sources include Pokémon TCG API, Scryfall, YGOPRODeck, TCGCSV, The Fab Cube dataset, and official publisher product resources where appropriate.
Displayed prices are labelled as market references unless they come from an approved live retailer or marketplace feed. USD and CAD are shown together for convenience, with CAD estimates based on the displayed exchange-rate source and observation date.
Products can appear before complete market coverage is available. In those cases, TCG Menace keeps the useful product profile and presents pricing as coming soon—never as a fabricated live offer. Automated marketplace scraping is not part of the data model.
TCG Menace does not claim partnership, endorsement, or live marketplace access unless that relationship is explicitly stated. Approved affiliate and API integrations will expand seller availability and real-time comparisons over time.
Data and independence
Product comparisons should remain useful to collectors first. Affiliate relationships should be disclosed and should not be presented as official pricing unless the source is clearly identified.
Current beta status
During beta, some links are ordinary search or source links while affiliate/API approvals are pending. Approved affiliate links can replace those routes over time.
